About the MVP Campaign

We Need More Climate Adaptation Funding

Massachusetts created the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) grant program in 2017 to help cities and towns in Massachusetts identify and manage climate hazards such as flooding, heat, and drought.

Funding for this essential program is dwarfed by the scale of the challenge. We have come together to annual MVP funding to $100 million in the next Environmental Bond Bill.

Scale Funding to Fit the Need

We are regional planning agencies and watershed associations who work with cities and towns on climate resilience. We came together for a single reason: to increase MVP funding to $100 million per year in the upcoming Environmental Bond Bill.
